Our Process

Residential Solar Installation Process
(Under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana)

Step 1: Customer Registration

The process begins with customer registration on the official portal.

The following documents and details are required :

    • Latest Electricity Bill
    • PAN Card
    • Aadhaar Card
    • Email ID
    • Mobile Number (OTP Verification)

Step 2: Agreement Preparation & Customer Signature

After successful registration, two agreements are prepared and signed:

  • Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
  • Vendor–Customer Agreement

Both agreements are shared with the customer and signed for approval.

Step 3: Submission & Department Approval

Once signed by the customer, the agreements are submitted to the Bijli Vibhag (Electricity Department).

The concerned executive reviews and signs the agreements to provide official approval.

Step 4: Solar Panel Installation

After approval:

  • Solar panels and required equipment are dispatched
  • Installation of the rooftop solar system is completed
  • A VT (Verification) photograph of the customer with the installed solar plant is taken for records

Step 5: Net Meter Application & Installation

We then apply for the net meter with the Bijli Vibhag.

This process generally takes approximately 1 month for approval and installation.

Step 6: Subsidy Application & Disbursement

Once the net meter is installed:

  • The subsidy application is submitted
  • The subsidy amount is credited directly to the customer’s bank account within approximately 40 days
